The move into ‘up-and-coming’ areas 5 years ago seemed great … but most of the areas soon receded into the ‘coming’ and not so much on the ‘up’ … but that is changing – phew! This little gem – Chilapan – just West of Western on Armitage in the Logan Square neighborhood [close to Bucktown ..so if you wanna call it Bucktown I will let you decide] is yet another recent sign of the ‘UP’. A family affair, that provides exceptional Mexican home cooking with some extraordinary flair! All served up in a cosy and colorful little spot, that is BYOB [gotta love that] … easy parking in the area and accessible by public transport. Dishes aren’t what you would call a bargain – but they are certainly value for money – and so TASTY! We will be back again and again and again … thanks M&A for the introduction!
