This new on the scene Brooklyn Bistro named ‘Strong Place‘ is off and racing! We arrived here late in the afternoon, just before the kitchen closed to prep for dinner. Despite our unruly arrival time for lunch, the staff were pleasant and happy to help us get settled with drinks in hand and orders on the grill. We had the chance to chat with Chef Kenny Tufo, a charming chap and he deserves all the success in the world, and you will know why with one bite into his to die for ‘Lamb burger’, sheer genius. Anything that you see served in a jar must also be ordered. The steak tartare when you open it has a little quail egg ready for you to mix in as a surprise under the lid. The pickled vegetables were gobbled up in a flash, the deviled eggs could go head-to-head against the Spotted Pig, and the fries – well I have withdrawals. Strong menu – strong place.
