Vuyatela meaning “come and visit again” are 8 suites designed in a traditional African Kaya-style. The suites consist of two structures, one being a lounge area and the other a bedroom / bathroom that is surrounded by an expansive Teak deck with a plunge pool over looking a waterhole where you can [and we did] watch Elephants & Buffalo take a mud bath, whilst Hippos grunt into the night and you can hear the occasional Lion roar.
The main Lodge provides guests with indoor and outdoor seating & dining options that also overlook the waterhole and some grassy open areas that are frequented by Zebra, Elephants, Impala and monkeys. This part of South Africa is known for the amazing game viewing and we weren’t disappointed, within one day we got to see the big five [Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant] in action. Check back to see what we spotted in Sabi Sands.
