Here is journey down Queen Street West in Toronto, it is a vibrant hip bohemian street filled with great ‘natures-theatre’ people watching, good food, and with many a great treasure to be found scouring the stores for anything from art-to-music-to-fashion-to-vintage home wares. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the quietness in the street with everyone being at work so we could enjoy it at our leisure sans the weekend crowd.
Enjoyed this stop into the Beaver for a mid-morning coffee, we basked in a sunny spot like a cat, whilst waiting for the caffeine to kick-in to get us moving for the day. Friendly service, laid back and local.
The County General is a new kid on the block that occupies a corner spot, making for a sun-filled beautiful space. They have a really fun and tasty take on some southern comfort food in every dish on the menu.
No trip to Toronto is complete without a visit to Terroni [at least for us]. We didn’t have time for lunch or dinner this trip, but we squeezed in some coffee and tiramisu for a little more caffeine and sugar to power us into dinner. Casual Italian eatery with a great atmosphere and delicious food ranging from antipasto, pizza to pasta dishes.
