Back in Sept 2010, we commissioned Angela Finney-Hoffman to create an ‘installation’ for some shelves that we never could figure out what to do with. She came up with this piece ‘OC No#1′. Obsessive-Compulsive … Organized Chaos .. however you want to look at it. Recently, the piece needed to come-down for a photo-shoot, and it gave Angela an opportunity to freshen it up, here she is in action. She works FAST!
This Thanksgiving when visiting family in Michigan. we took a little time out to stop by the new Zaha Hadid designed Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University [opened Nov 10th 2012]. What a fantastic compact international art museum! It is highly recommended for visits in the area. A brilliant design that is an ode to the future, and the interior space is just as interesting as the art it displays. We can’t wait to return again for a visit soon.

Picked up these totally unexpected pieces that provide a twist on holiday decor during a recent trip to NYC. These bird footed ornaments, made from hand-blown glass and cast pewter, were spotted in the window on our walk home from dinner and we had to go back and get some. Created by a clever artist named Peter Eudenbach, they are available in a limited edition of 100 {these are #32 & #33} exclusively through ARTWARE. Creepy or Fun?
